My poor hubby is sick again. he came home other day sniffing and when i hear him sneezing i immediately know that he has a coming cold and indeed the following day he is already complaining for having a headache and running nose. it has been 3 months since my mom arrived here from the Philippines. Yesterday, she was throwing up and have a stomach pain. I dont know what to do. I felt sad for her and so helpless. I can see that our new year will be better that last year.First, My life would be very easy because of the my mom's presence. My thanksgiving with my family here in texas turns out really well. The foods were good and as usual i ate more than i supposed to eat. Well it is just once in a year so the heck with my diet . I went to home depot last week and complained about the squeaking and cracking sound of our newly installed engineered wood. I was bugging my husband to have our carpet floor replaced into wood flooring thinking that it would be easy for me to clean. But when i have it, I can say that i am totally wrong. i think i love the carpet flooring better than this noisy, squeaky and annoying wood that we have. the wood is kind of dark so you can easily see the dirt and dust on it. After two months of not having my monthly period, I was very happy to finally have it last monday. Last week, I finally decided to quit my part time job. I never get tired of watching old Andy Griffith episodes. Meanwhile, Opie is upset to discover that he got the bad end of the deal when he traded his cap pistol for some “licorice seeds.” The little boy tries to make his own devious deal by attempting to swap the licorice seeds for roller skates. Tonight is my first night of my part time job at my friends nursing home. It was not bad at all. The old folks are not that hard to put to their. So far I've done putting them all to sleep and was just checking them every now and then.I love my job. I love the feeling that I had a chance to help somebody and takes care of them. I was so happy last week when my husband allow me to get and buy the canon 60d as my mothers day gift,bday, and christmas too. hehehe. It was a fun night for me last night. Me and my friends here in denton went to see the concert of my favorite filipino singer Joey Albert. We'll I only realized last night that she is one of my favorite singer..hehehhehe..I actually dont know who is Joey Albert until i heard her song last night and to my surprised I used to sing some of her song and even played my guitar while i sing it. It is just so amazing to know that she is the original singer of those song that i love to sing. She was well known back in 80's which is probably the reason why i dont know her much since i was born in the 80's too..

Joey Albert maybe grown in age but her voice remains the same. She really is a great singer and I was really blessed with the songs that she sung last night. She did not only sing Tagalog song but also some religious song that brought tears to my eyes. Her life story was very inspiring too. I am so happy that I attended her concert. My first reason why i bought the ticket is for me to just be able to go out from the house and have some time with my friends without thinking about kids. Just a break from baby sitting with my two boys. but it turned out to be one of the best concert that I ever attended. I was really blessed:)

Finally! after few days of doing my huge pile of laundry I am finally done. it is so nice to see our closet so clean and not full of dirty clothes. This will be my first try of cooking chicken menudo. Actually chicken menudo is one of my favorite filipino dish but I just dont know how to cook. My mom is really good of cooking it and it became one of my favorite food that my mom cook. Anyway, thanks to panlasangpino I was able to get the recipe on how to cook chicken menudo. Hmm the food is still cooking right now and its smelling good already. Since the day I gave birth to my second son, i barely or should I say I never see my house clean. I just cant do all the works and take care of the baby. Therefore, last week, I decided to schedule everything. one space at a time. Today, I manage to clean our kitchen, do the dishes and clean the baby's bottle. It is a heaven feeling looking at my clean kitchen. i will hopefully manage to keep it clean for the rest of the week. We will see. tomorrow, would be my schedule to clean the living room. Since my 5 years of stay here in USA, just this morning I experience for the first time i woke up without our heater on for the reason that the power of whole city was out. I mean seriously, it was like 15 degrees outside. i woke up freezing. our house was really cold. good thing the power back after at least 1 hour and my husband turned on our portable heater for us to keep warm. With that time span of having no electricity, i realized that I cannot lived here in US without heater. Boy, i came from a tropical country which is always warm. So, I am pretty much certain that I cannot stand living in a country that is cold and no heater to keep me warm. I am just thankful that we seldom have a blackout here in US.

You haven’t seen anything yet!” And I’m sure God has been good to you, but He also has things for your future that, if He told you right now, would boggle your mind. You wouldn’t even believe it. Friend, that is how God wants to bless you in your future. He wants to overwhelm you with His goodness and with things so wonderful you can’t even fathom it! Today, get ready for increase. I dont know what to do for me to be able to have our house clean. I tell you, taking care of kids is not easy. i barely have time to wash the dishes and take a shower. i really need to finish my laundry and clean the kitchen today. i cant do anything if my two mos old isaac is awake. he just want me to hold him all the time. We'll I understand that at his stage they love to be cuddled and be held. Things change when they reach to 4 mos up then they love looking around and I am sure that he will start to appreciate the colors and sound that he saw on tv:)
